Carlos Amador earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forestry from Humboldt State University. He has 4 years experience working on National Forest crews, and has worked as security at Heavenly Ski Resort for 10 years. A local to the area, Carlos grew up in Monte Rio along the Russian River.
Carlos has been greeting visitors to Armstrong Redwoods SNR and Austin Creek SRA since 2017. He is known for his cheerful disposition and smile and knowledge of the park and it’s natural resources.
