Annie Cresswell has been with Stewards since February 2002, shortly after graduating from Empire College with a certificate in business administration. With a background in environmental advocacy and more than two decades of organizational leadership, Annie now serves as Executive Director, guiding Stewards’ mission, operations, and long-term vision.
Over the years, Annie has provided essential administrative and program support, overseen human resources, and managed retail operations. Her deep knowledge of the organization, strong relationships within the community, and commitment to protecting our natural and cultural resources continue to strengthen Stewards in meaningful ways.
A lifelong resident of Cazadero, Annie grew up in the surrounding hills and remains rooted in the place she works to protect.
