Jacque was dedicated to the Armstrong Visitor Center for over 20 years. She was honored in December 2017 with the highest volunteer award from State Parks, a Volunteer Medallion. She was always cheerful, helpful and a pleasure to be around.
Jacque passed away in early 2018. She designated Stewards to receive a $10,000 bequest from her estate. Those funds are being used for an interpretive sign at the Armstrong Visitor Center showing a map of the walks and hikes at Armstrong Redwoods and some ADA improvements for the Lizzie Armstrong Jones Welcome Center.
Stewards is honored to be named as one of the organizations suggested for memorial donations.
