Trained at the famed Bauhaus, Marguerite Wildenhain was one of Europe’s most talented ceramists. During World War II, she fled to America and started a new life at Pond Farm—an isolated ranch in Northern California, located above Armstrong Redwoods. Marguerite: From the Bauhaus to Pond Farm follows this extraordinary refugee and shows how a generation of artists journeyed to Sonoma County to learn from the reclusive Master Potter.
