Become a Pond Farm Artist in Residence

Pond Farm invites artists to apply for its Artist-in-Residence program, offering a unique opportunity to live and work in a serene natural setting in Guerneville, California.

Artists-in-residence will stay in a private, comfortable cottage situated on a hillside overlooking rolling hills, just above Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Residents are encouraged to focus fully on their creative practice during a three-week residency at beautiful Pond Farm.

The cottage is located behind a locked gate and includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room, small dining area, full kitchen, and front porch. Surrounded by oak forest, the property offers abundant hiking opportunities, with redwood forests just five minutes away and the Sonoma Coast approximately 30 minutes away. The cottage is adjacent to the historic Pond Farm barn and provides exceptional quiet, privacy, and immersion in nature.

Residency Details

• Duration: 3 weeks

• Availability: 5 openings, 1 per month May through September.

• Location: Guerneville, California

Eligibility
Artists working in all mediums are welcome to apply, including (but not limited to) writers, painters, photographers, musicians, sculptors, textile artists, and more. Artists from all geographic locations worldwide are invited to apply.
