May 23-24 and 30-31 are the last weekends to view with the Stewards Official Whale Watchers for 2026!
Join Stewards Official Whale Watchers on the Sonoma Coast between 10am and 2pm. Weather permitting – rain or strong winds may cancel.
Meet at the south end of the Bodega Head parking lot. You will easily find the Official Whale Watchers in the green vests, greeting visitors, and explaining to folks how they too can spot migrating whales! Don’t be shy – let the Whale Watchers know you are there to learn how to spot traveling whales. Bring the older kids along for a great learning experience. Please note, the ciffs are steep in this area, and not safe for younger children.
Be sure to bring something to eat and drink, dress in layers, and consider a folding chair and binoculars. Who knows what you might see – in addition to whales, you may spot dolphins, seals, and many different sea birds.
