We will meet next to the trailhead sign on the North side of the parking lot.

Join us on Friday August 15 for an educational, reflective, and gentle roundtrip walk along the Sonoma Coast trail between Shell Beach and Carlevaro Way. Pre-registration is required.
Originating in Japan, forest bathing (also known as shinrin-yoku), is nature’s remedy for stress and mental well-being. Join your guide John Dennis, for an educational, reflective, and gentle hike into the forest. John is an accredited guide with the Association of Forest Therapy https://anft.earth/who-we-are/ and a Shinrin-Yoku facilitator with the Future With Forest organization in Japan. https://fwithf.org/english/
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before we begin.  We will be slowly walking a short distance, some of it on uneven surfaces. Wear shoes that are comfortable.
  • Dress in layers. We will be moving and standing/sitting still for stretches of time and you might want to bring sit pads or a small camping stool.
  • Bring a water bottle, hat and sunglasses.
  • Please leave your animals at home.
  • Children 12 and above are welcome to join.
  • Remember to bring your curiosity and an open mind.
