Please join us for a Yoga and Meditation workshop to practice and learn a variety of techniques for optimal health and wellness. The workshop provides a variety of Yoga and Meditation techniques. The morning will start with a 90 minute guided Yoga and Meditation session, led by Kashi Ananda. Followed by an introduction and practice of walking meditation through a nearby labyrinth. This wellness workshop is a total of 3 hours. An optional guided mindfulness hike is offered to guests after the workshop. The guided hike will start by 12:30PM, please see details below.

If you are interested in deepening your connection with nature, while improving your overall well being please join Kashi Ananda and Rebecca Andrade for a special day, on the Sonoma Coast. Kashi is the Founding Director of Kashi Ananda Yoga (formerly Devi Yoga Center) in Sebastopol, CA and a senior teacher of TriYoga International. She is also a Yoga Therapist approved by IAYT. Kashi loves helping others connect to their joyful state through yoga practice and spending time in nature. Rebecca is a Certified Interpretive Guide, California Naturalist, Programs Manager for Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods, and has practiced Zen meditation techniques in the outdoors for the past 18 years.

In the cool of the morning air, overlooking the beautiful Sonoma Coast, Kashi will guide us through a 90 minute TriYoga Practice. This practice includes; Asana (posture), Pranayama (rhythmic breath), Mudra (inner focus), Dharana (concentration), and Dhyana (meditation). Kashi will be drawing from the various intermediate levels of the practice, so that different options of postures will be given. This workshop is designed to increase our knowledge of posture and flow. As well as, gaining understanding of strength, flexibility, endurance, and breath control. We will be guided through sustained awareness on all aspects of this practice. The practice is to harmonize and calm your nervous system, leaving your whole system balanced, bathed in inner peace, and blissful in presence.

Next, Rebecca will provide an introduction to walking meditation and lead a walking meditation practice through a nearby Labyrinth. The practice of walking meditation reduces stress, improves mental clarity, and stabilizes emotions. This workshop is intended to provide health and wellness practices for you to practice on your own, or with friends and loved ones. To wrap up we will share what we learned, experienced, and discuss how we might use these practices in the future. A brief introduction to the practice of mindfulness will be shared, which we will practice during the optional hike.

Afterward, the optional mindfulness hike on the Pomo Canyon Trail to Redhill is offered to those who are interested in joining. The hike is a 4.4 mile loop with 1,102 ft. elevation gain. The hike is considered a moderately challenging hike for experienced hikers, which takes an average of 2 hours and 25 minutes. Hiking speeds and return times may vary. We look forward to meeting you!
