A great opportunity to join naturalist Laura Morgan for a Wildflower Hike. We meet at 9AM, in the town of Duncans Mills, on Freezeout Rd (with parking on the street before the private road sign). The big gate to the inner parking lot is still closed.

The entire loop hike is 6 miles long, with the option to turn back early for a 3.5 mile loop instead. This hike will be hilly compared to the coastal hike–ascending to Islands in the Sky ridge and back (approximately 900′ of gradual elevation gain).  About half of the up- and down-hill portions of the hike are rocky and muddy. Participants may want to bring walking poles and footwear with good tread for better footing.
